LATEST MARKET UPDATE: Gas and Power prices are largely trading at parity with last week’s levels, despite some significant price swings at the front of the pricing curve. The bout of low pressure has seen reduced wind output, increasing demand for gas-fired power generation and stretching a European gas system which is struggling to attract global LNG. Winter prices have also been volatile with concerns over gas storage levels being partially offset by positive supply news surrounding the potential completion of the Nordstream 2 gas pipeline. Prices further out have been softer, as renewed coronavirus fears in the wake of the delta variant have weigh on global oil markets.

The Customer - Instavolt

Instavolt provide easy access to charging units that help drivers get back on the road quickly. They develop, install, own and operate rapid electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in the UK.

Instavolt’s services benefit electric vehicle drivers, the landowners that house the charging units and, ultimately, the UK’s environment by supporting use of less polluting electric vehicles.

All their charging units are available for EV drivers to use on a pay-as-you-go, no subscription basis. There’s no connection charge; drivers simply tap their contactless credit or debit car and only pay for the electricity used.

Instavolt chose Utility Team to procure energy supply for our rapid EV charging station roll out in 2017. Utility Team showed their expertise at procuring competitive pricing from multiple suppliers for our charging stations as well as our warehouse. Throughout the process, they were engaging and helped breakdown all aspects of the supply contract.

Additionally, Utility Team helped manage multiple parties to energise our stations a soon as possible and on shortened timescales where necessary.
